Software
The types of software that you use in your business or home computing, may have an impact on cost, but we make every effort to keep prices to a minimum. For example, we may be able to only backup the relevant file within each piece of software, which contains your inputted data, rather than the entire program.

Data Volume
Data volume is also a consideration, depending on whether your backup is intended to secure mostly documents and files rather than images, video and audio.

Retention Period
A retention period, or the length of time you select to keep each version of a file, is selected at the outset and will eventually impact the amount of data you keep on our servers. If you chose to replace each file every time a change is made, this uses less space than if you elect to keep a month's version of a file containing each day's updates, for example.
